Ham's school is huge! I've never seen a building like it. There were kids everywhere. I was all set to play, but Ham had to go to class. I couldn't just sit there, so followed Ham into the school. The halls were so wide and the floors were shinny and slippery. They must wax them everyday. Finally, we get to Ham's classroom.
Ham's classroom is really fun! There are bookshelves full of books! A special place to hang your backpack! There is even a corner devoted just to art! I can't wait to spend the day learning. Suddenly an adult walks into the room. She is Ham's teacher, Mrs. Rim. She doesn't seem very excited about my day of learning. Mrs. Rim makes me wait outside. I get to see Ham during recess and lunch. By the end of the day I'm worn out. I don't even remember the ride home.

By the time we do get home I'm starving! I am so ready for an afternoon snack. As you know, Ham and I love to make things in the kitchen. We look are for something we can make without asking Mom for help. We find crackers, bananas, and peanut butter. Ham decides to make little peanut butter and banana sandwiches. All we need is a knife to slice the bananas and spread the peanut butter. Below is a drawing that will help you make your yummy snack. (Ham give me a healthy dog biscuit to eat.)

Mini Peanut butter and banana sandwich:
Take two crackers (or wafers), place a banana slice on the bottom cracker.
Spread peanut butter on the banana and top it with the second cracker.
Be sure to clean up after you make your snack.
